Making art, regardless of experience, is an invitation to explore, express, and honor the holistic call to create.

In the making, we discover so much more than what is made.

In the creative process of making, we begin to SEE differently, deeply, beyond our usual perspectives. And in this active beholding, we feel connection with something bigger than ourselves - something that comes through in what we nurture, form and share.

As our making process deepens, we fall into a rhythm with presence, infusing materials with our inspirited curiosity and intuition, exploring the formation of our creative ideas and intentions in time, and weaving our past with what is and what we will be.

It is both simple and not easy, challenging and fun. Deceptively arbitrary to those who do not get it, and deeply meaningful to those who DO.

It can seem unexpected to somehow feel a little more seen, connected or set free somehow, as we are making something, trying and learning a new thing, or slowing down enough to behold something that moves us.

It is in this creational intimacy, this resonance in-the-making, that helps us remember who we are - in our joy, depth, fullness, interconnected wholeness and truth.
