A Softer Touch

As You Wish.
I continue to feel a little quieter inside,
not as rushed.
What a gift this is,
and I am soaking it up.
These two paintings,
part of
my newfound love
of studying women in prayer
as my practice at the easel,
come from this place I rest in.
They have shown me
how peaceful it is inside
when I allow my own pace
to be a little slower than the rest of the world,
just like it wants to.
They have breathed into my creative heart
the gifts of knowing, intimately,
a softer touch.

Trinity.
