moments with respite within... (art journal peek)
These are some of my favorite types of pages in my personal creative journals.
No over-thinking or over-doing in the energy expended. No mindful intentions or seeking in the process.
No expectations, and a little less caring, less trying.
The pages that form of random bits, marks and doodles that come together over stretches of time.
Just parts and leftover scraps never intended to be unified, but that found their way to one another nonetheless.
A sketch from one season meets a glued down scrap from another... and repetitious lines remind no one, but me, of moments with respite and meaning within.
